ARTIST STATEMENT:
In a world that feels increasingly lonely, I make theater because it requires a community: the ensemble, the audience, the act of collective creation, the ritual of experiencing art together. I explore what it means for our identity to be defined by the people who surround us. My work is not naturalistic, but seeks out theatricality and extremes, because I believe art teaches us far more about ourselves than reality ever can.
